Operation points of steel butt welding machine
The welder operator must be professionally trained, familiar with the welder construction, performance, operating procedures, and master the knowledge of process parameters selection, quality inspection specifications.
Before operation, check whether the welding machine mechanism is sensitive and reliable, whether the electrical system is safe, whether the cooling water pump system has water leakage, and whether the lubrication parts are well filled.
It is strictly forbidden to weld steel bars exceeding the specified diameter. The main ribs must be welded and then cold drawn. In order to ensure the quality of the welding, it is necessary to carry out cleaning, rust removal and correction in the range of about 150 mm.
When working with the operator, you must bring colored protective glasses and hats to prevent the eyes from irritating the eyes and molten metal from burning the skin.
The butt welder should be parked in a clean, dry and ventilated place. The butt welder used on site should be equipped with a shed that is protected from rain, moisture and sun. It is equipped with fire-fighting equipment. No flammable materials can be piled up within the welding range.
The welder shall be provided with a special wiring switch and installed in the switch box. The capacity of the fuse shall be 1.5 times the capacity of the machine. The welder housing ground must be good.
For post-weld appearance inspection, the steel joints should be properly upset, with no cracks on the surface and obvious burns. The crankshaft of the joint axis is not more than 6°, and the offset is not more than 1/10 of the diameter of the steel bar, and shall not be greater than 2 mm.
After the operation, the site should be cleaned up, and the fire extinguishing species should be eliminated. In winter, the air should be compressed to cool the water in the cooling pipeline and cut off the power.
